I am currently looking for a basket to place potatos and onions in on my future open shelving. THIS fits the bill. I adore the chicken wire and the metal label. Sigh. I heart pretty things.
Two 30 year old, married, high school sweethearts move themselves and their two kids into a 1960's Cape style home. This blog chronicles the good, the bad, and the ugly (floral wallpaper, faux wood panelling, pink tile) and follows their journey as they take 19 Butternut from 'someone else's history' to 'home sweet home'.

great photo!
ohh i love that basket!! good find! just don't put the potatoes and onions in the same basket ... I hear that can cause them (both) to go bad quicker!
That is pretty and beachy. just doing some bloghopping and came upon yours and I think its really cool. I've got a little artsy blog going on if you'd like to check out mine.
That would be absolutely perfect in my kitchen. You have an awesome eye!
Really cute!
Really 'outside the box'!
Unique find!
Brilliant idea!
I just found your blog and was sifting through when I saw all those syringes. My little Madi was diagnosed 20 March this year. Makes me want to scream some days but she is also doing so well. My husband was sent to Iraq in May which I was so scared to be by myself but so far so good. Except last Thur. night I made the mistake of giving novolog instead of lantus and my goodness...all was okay. I had to call the Dr. and Madi had to get up and eat carbs until 2am but she and I got through it. Since I have marked the lantus vial with red tape.
I really enjoy all you beautiful and inspiring pictures.

Tip:I wonder if this basket would be easy to make. Just buy two round rings, one slightly larger than the other and some chicken wire. Bend around and cut to fit. Use cut wire coat hangers for the handles.
