Found this on the newsstand today. I literally did a double take, gasped, and then looked around for someone to share my joy with. The man looking at the Muscle Cars magazine didn't seem nearly as thrilled as I was that I found a NEW copy of a DISCONTINUED magazine! How can this be???
Then I saw "Meridith Specials" near the UPC code and realized it was likely a one time thing. Frankly, I was ok with that. I mean, to see your favorite, long dead publication reappear ONCE is good enough, right? Beggars can't be choosy.
Alas, I turned to the Editors Note and found this statement:
"... bring back the Country Home title!" Huh? Does this mean what I think it means??? Is Country Home being published monthly again? I searched with no success to find an answer to this question.
I must know. If anyone has any info, please share!!

Look into the mag a few pages and on the right page in the binding you'll see another note about how many times/year they will publish. I don't have my copy right here, but I think it said 2x/year.
I say let's buy iy out as soon as it hits the stands and maybe they will continue!

Bummer! I called Better Homes & Garden Cust. Service line and they confirmed Country Home will not be bringing back publication. I was lucky enough to find this weekend a lot of 20 CH magazines at a yard sale for $1 each....now I have alot of catching up to do on my "reading" this weekend! ;o)
Really...so according to that last comment...they AREN'T bringing it back? Sigh. Double sigh.

It's coming back as a special publication. The Fall 2010 is out, I got mine at Lowe's. It's expensive at $9.99 but worth it to me. So I guess it will come out at each seasom. That sould mean there will be one at Christmas! We can only hope.
